Armortek Hetzer + a visit to the Wheatcroft Hetzer collection

We are over the moon to team up with the world's leading 1:6 model maker - ArmorTek.

Like the Easy Eight, the Hetzer (Jagdpanzer 38 - Sd.Kfz. 138/2) also made its debut around mid 1944. Based on the chassis of the Czech Panzer 38(t) it proved formidable in service with its low profile and 75mm Pak 39 gun .

Thanks to its ease of production and simplicity and reliability of operation, the Hetzer came to serve as Germany's main tank destroyer in the latter period of the war with over 2,800 being made. They served to deadly effect on both the Eastern and Western fronts.

The Armortek Hetzer is sold as a kit for assembly and can be turned into an Radio Controlled (RC) Tank through the addition of options.

A unique prize in itself. The winner will also have a personal invite from The Wheatcroft Collection to visit their four Hetzers that are going through full restoration by the world class restoration company Tey Vehicle Restorations.

You will be one of the first people in the world to see the collection's FOUR Hetzers and will be shown around them and if we are really lucky, we may be able to see some of them running.

No where else in the world will you ever see or hear such pieces of history all in one place, and if that wasn’t enough, you get to spend time with the owner, Mr Kevin Wheatcroft and the whole team who restored them, Tey Vehicle Restorations.

You will have a personal tour of them by the team and ask as many questions as humanly possible as there is now no one in the world with the experience of restoring four Hetzers like the Tey Vehicle Restorations team.

So not only will you win a fantastic Armortek Hetzer model, you will also get to see four WW2 Hetzers in their restoration phases, meet the owner, meet the world class restoration team and drink champagne, this truly is a unique competition and prize and is a one off.

A massive thank you from us to Kevin Wheatcroft of The Wheatcroft Collection and Gavin Copeman and team from Tey Vehicle Restorations.
